Who knew you could put a little wine bar and retail shop smack-dab in the middle of a bed and breakfast in Dayton, Ohio, make it open to the public, name it after a hearing-impaired pound puppy and serve little snacks that go great with wine?

Our Wines
Every week we offer at least 10 wines by the 2oz taste for $2 to $6 each, as well as by the glass. In addition, we offer over 100 wines by the bottle that you can purchase to take home, or enjoy at our shop for a $5 corkage fee, as well as a small selection of bottled beer.
Cicchetti
Bread and Cheese and Olives…with a glass of Monty’s Wine. That is cicchetti, in a nutshell. In Venice, you’ll stop at a wine bar, and they sell little snacks that go perfectly with a glass of wine. This is not fancy fare, but below are some typical offerings that you’ll find on our cicchetti menu:
- Rosemary focaccia from Grist with olive oil for dipping
- A baby bowl of olives
- A baby bowl of cheese cubes with crackers
But it gets better! You can bring in your own snacks or even a full meal to Deaf Monty’s. Create the perfect food pairing to go with your Deaf Monty’s Wine experience. We are just steps from Thai-9, Jimmy’s Italian Cuisine, Jay’s Seafood, Lily’s Bistro, Blind Bob’s, Oregon Express and Dublin Pub.

Join this society of sippers for just $25 and you will receive:
- A Deaf Monty’s tasting glass of your very own
- A “DM-5 Licnese,” good for Five 2 ounce tastes in your Deaf Monty’s tasting glass from our rotating tasting line-up*
- $1 off 6 ounce pours in your Deaf Monty’s tasting glass
*You don’t have to take all 5 tastes in one visit
Additional “licenses” (tasting cards) may be purchased for $10 each.
Expired “licenses” may be turned in for drawings for Deaf Monty’s prizes
For an additional $5, you can purchase a one year kennel license. This allows you to keep your glass in the “kennel” at Deaf Monty’s shop, where you can visit it as often as you like, but in your absence, it will be cared for by the junior sippy pups.
